Frozen Head State Park's Heritage Day is back for its 45th year, celebrating the traditional music, crafts and culture of the Appalachian and Cumberland Mountains.
Watch blacksmithing, weaving, basket and broom making, apple cider pressing, cast iron cooking, shingle making and crosscut sawing. Local arts and crafts vendors and food trucks will be on site all day.
New this year: a live sheep-herding demonstration by Blue Ridge Border Collies. Vintage baseball and classic Model A cars return, and kids can enjoy hayrides and pumpkin painting.
