Submission terms & copyright

• Listings are free. Events should be open to the public and in or near Morgan County, Tennessee.
• Please make sure the details are accurate. You're responsible for what you send us.
• We may edit listings for length and clarity, and we may decline or remove any listing at any time.
• Your name, email and phone number stay private (see our privacy policy). We only publish them if you ask us to list them as the event contact.

Only send images you took or made yourself, or that you have the owner's permission to use. Please don't send pictures found on Google, stock photo sites, news sites or other businesses' pages. If you're not sure, leave it off. Every listing gets one of our own licensed Morgan County photos by default.

When you send us a photo or flyer, you confirm that:

• you own it, or have permission from whoever does, and it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights;
• anyone recognizable in it is OK with it being shared publicly;
• you give Wartburg Local free, non-exclusive permission to show it with your listing and when promoting the event on this site and our social media; and
• you're responsible for any claim that comes from an image you sent.

You keep ownership of your photos. Ask us to take one down at any time (contact@wartburglocal.com) and we will. We credit submitted photos on the event page.

We respect the rights of photographers and creators. If you believe something on this site uses your work without permission, email contact@wartburglocal.com with:

• your name, address, phone number and email;
• a description of the copyrighted work;
• the page address (URL) where it appears on our site;
• a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized by the owner, its agent or the law;
• a statement that your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you're the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and
• your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is fine).

We'll remove or disable the material promptly, usually within two business days, and let the person who submitted it know. If you submitted something that was removed and believe that was a mistake, reply with a counter-notice explaining why. We stop accepting images from anyone who repeatedly sends material they don't have rights to.

Photos of Wartburg and Morgan County used across the site come from Wikimedia Commons under Creative Commons or public-domain licenses. The photographers are credited on each event page and on our photo credits list.

Listings come from organizers and the community. Times, prices and details can change, so check with the organizer before heading out. Wartburg Local isn't responsible for changes, cancellations or the events themselves.
